Learning Center

The Learning Center offers free academic services and tutoring through student-centered, interactive and effective academic support. Peer and professional instruction is offered through tutoring, help sessions, exam reviews and study plan consultations.

TRiO SSS

The TRiO program is actively and collaboratively expanding services to better support a population that is constantly changing. The TRiO program is is a strong advocate for meeting the needs of students who are currently in, or have aged out of the foster care program, as well as students who have or are currently experiencing challenges meeting basic housing and food needs.

Center for Academic Success & Excellence (CASE)

CASE promotes the success of students from the time of acceptance into MU through graduation by providing opportunities related to academic enrichment, career development, financial literacy, sense of belonging, and wellness to help students transition to and persist at MU. CASE serves as a support for underrepresented minority students, but its services are open to all Mizzou students.

Writing Center

Writing Center supports anyone with a pawprint (including faculty, postdocs, and distanced-students) completely free of charge throughout their time at Mizzou via in-person appointments at the Columbia campus, Zoom appointments, and asynchronous responses through the Online Writery. Writers of all levels can expect detailed feedback and revision options focused on “Higher Order Concerns” and “later order concerns” for any stage of the writing process, regardless of the modality in which they utilize the Writing Center services.
