First-Generation Center

At Mizzou, nearly 25 percent of new (first-time college and transfer) students identify as first generation.
Students experience various challenges that shape how to navigate their time at Mizzou with support and encouragement for the next generation of students who are the first in their family to complete a baccalaureate degree.

Transfer Center

Space where the transfer student community comes together at all stages of the transfer process. Providing admissions coordinators to navigate each student’s transition to Mizzou. Advisors guide students in academics and programming to encourage engagement in the Mizzou community.

Discovery Center

Advising for undecided majors and students from across campus considering a change in major or in need of assistance in determining new options. Working collaboratively with students to find the best fit between the students’ interest and abilities while navigating their Mizzou Experience.
