Freshman Interest Groups (FIGs)
The FIGs program works on a variety of levels to help incoming freshman find their “place” at Mizzou by integrating a community of students, faculty and staff who share the same professional interests.

Student engagement in research, creative, or professional projects designed to lead to applicable knowledge in a particular field of study. Undergraduate Research a faculty-mentored experience using approaches, methods, and analysis appropriate to the discipline the students wish to study.

Opportunities to earn academic credit for experience-based learning to build a foundation of a lifelong commitment to social responsibility and public service.
