Freshman Interest Groups (FIGs)

The FIGs program works on a variety of levels to help incoming freshman find their “place” at Mizzou by integrating a community of students, faculty and staff who share the same professional interests.

Office of Undergraduate Research

Student engagement in research, creative, or professional projects designed to lead to applicable knowledge in a particular field of study. Undergraduate Research a faculty-mentored experience using approaches, methods, and analysis appropriate to the discipline the students wish to study.

Service Learning

Opportunities to earn academic credit for experience-based learning to build a foundation of a lifelong commitment to social responsibility and public service. Mizzou strives to develop civic, corporate and social responsibility while enhancing the students’ personal growth and enriching the lives of persons within the community.
